Why this lesson matters ·

For learners: Identify a travel announcement's main message and details, then state the correct next action.

For teachers: Move from prediction to gist, detail, evidence, transfer and an independent changed announcement.

Your Goal

Identify the service, destination, departure time or platform, one changed detail, and the action the traveller should take.

Why this lesson matters

For the learner: Announcements often change one important detail. Catching the service, change and action helps you avoid the wrong platform or connection.

For the teacher: Keep the transcript closed until the learner has committed gist and detail answers. The final task must be completed from an unseen announcement.
