Vocabulary is the primary target. Make the learner use every word group in an original sentence before combining the groups in a recommendation. Do not turn the lesson into film or art analysis.

Keep word class explicit: nouns name works or people, verbs show actions, adjectives describe, and chunks express preference. Require immediate original use.

Require the learner’s own content. Give one word-choice and one sentence-pattern correction at most, then elicit the corrected sentence again.

6. Choose and recommend

Allow keywords during planning but no full script. Prompt with the missing word group rather than supplying a complete sentence.

7. Final Practice · plan a creative afternoon

A visitor wants one creative activity this afternoon. They like beautiful and relaxing things, but they do not like loud places.

FINAL PRACTICE
  1. Recommend one suitable creative work or place.
  2. Use at least eight target words: two work/person nouns, two action verbs and three adjectives.
  3. State the visitor’s preference and give two simple reasons.
  4. Say who creates, performs or watches the work.
  5. Teacher changes one detail: the visitor now wants something exciting.
  6. Adapt the recommendation and retry the weakest two sentences after one correction.

Score the unsupported recommendation before feedback. Give one vocabulary and one sentence correction at most, then rerun only the weak section.
