How to run Stage 1

Accept sensible alternatives because many objects can appear in more than one room. Ask the learner to explain one choice with a short phrase.

How to run Stage 2

Ask for room, object and location before opening the answer. Replay only the phrase the learner missed.

Your task:
  1. Choose one room card.
  2. Add one object and one position phrase.
  3. Say a complete sentence. Your partner points to the correct card.

4. Choose the right object or place and explain why

Say your choice first, then give one reason.

How to run Stage 4

Accept a different but logical household choice. Score meaning and usable language, not whether the learner chooses the teacher’s first idea.

Final practice: Describe one room clearly

Your task: Choose a real or imaginary room. Without reading full model sentences, describe six objects and where they are. Answer one follow-up question: “Where is ___?”

Success target: at least six accurate home words, five understandable locations and FP = 2 after one focused retry.
