Teacher Lesson Plan · Read before class

Vocabulary is the primary target. The learner must use each word group in an original sentence before combining the groups in an information exchange. Treat dates and quantities as meaning, not a pronunciation drill.

TimeTeacher doesStudent doesEvidence
0–3Uses the cover to elicit date and quantity information.Names one visible date or quantity idea.Meaning before form.
3–8Organises number, date, quantity and checking language.Says a working set and creates one sentence per group.Correct word groups.
8–12Models two short information exchanges.Identifies date, time, number, unit and checking phrase.Heard details.
12–16Hides the bank and prompts retrieval.Recalls at least twelve target items.Independent recall.
16–21Checks number/date patterns, then removes the model.Builds six true sentences.Original use.
21–26Runs an order-and-date information gap.Asks, answers and confirms.Complete exchange.
26–30Changes one date or quantity and scores.Adapts and retries without a script.VR / FP evidence.
