Use the pronoun only when the listener knows the reference.
30-minute lesson route
Find the receiver of the action

Use familiar actions such as call, help, invite, send, ask, tell, and meet. Identify who or what receives each action before choosing the pronoun.
How to run Stage 1
3 min: Establish four people or things and who receives each action.
Map subject pronouns to object pronouns
I becomes me; he becomes him; she becomes her; we becomes us; they becomes them. You and it keep the same form. Compare: She calls me. I call her.
How to run Stage 2
5 min: Map subject pronouns to object pronouns.
Place the pronoun after a verb or preposition
Engduo Audio: Listen for meaning first. Audio never starts automatically.
Track who her and me refer to.
Track him, them, and us through the exchange.
After a verb: Invite them. After a preposition: Send it to him. Do not use an object pronoun as the subject: Her called me is incorrect.
How to run Stage 3
5 min: Practise pronouns after common verbs and prepositions.
Track every person and thing
Listen to both exchanges. Draw a line from each object pronoun to the correct person or thing. Explain when repeating the noun would be clearer than using a pronoun.
How to run Stage 4
6 min: Play both exchanges and track each reference.
Complete a request-and-response chain
Use four people or things. Make a request, respond, pass on one message, and confirm the final action. Use at least five object pronouns without creating an unclear reference.
How to run Stage 5
7 min: Run the six-turn message chain and clarification.
Final practice: Pass on a clear everyday message
Task: Complete six connected turns with at least five object pronouns after verbs or prepositions. Clarify one reference when your partner is unsure.
Success: The object forms are accurate, every pronoun has a clear reference, and the message reaches the final person without teacher-supplied wording.
